AI Prompt Engineering 101: Chat Bot

Prompt Engineering 101: A Comprehensive Course

In this three-part course, students will learn the principles and best practices of prompt engineering, a cutting-edge style of engagement with AI large language models (LLMs), like ChatGPT. With a focus on both fundamental concepts and advanced techniques, students will develop the skills needed to craft effective prompts that elicit contextually relevant responses from chatbots and AI language models.

In covering concepts, techniques, and real-world applications, students will become proficient in designing effective and contextually relevant prompts.

The course includes hands-on exercises and case studies to reinforce learning and ensure proficiency in real-world applications.

Pre-requisites:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • While not required, prior experience with chatbots, AI language models, or the GPT series of models will be advantageous. Students without a strong background in AI or NLP may need to dedicate additional time to reviewing supplemental materials provided by the instructor.
